Presentation
Naming the journal after metapsychology may seem provocative, given that it is now fashionable to take it for perished in light of recent scientific discoveries. Yet we are not here to bury it or to praise it, because we cannot help but agree that certain viewpoints on metapsychology are doubtless dead, although the core of Freudian thought does not deserve the same fate.

Call for papers
Metapsychologica is open to the original contributions of independent researchers who have carried out or have the intention to carry out research of interest for the development of psychoanalysis as a science. In this section, topics of interest for future publications will be published from time to time.
Each request will be evaluated by the scientific committee and by the editorial staff of the journal. If the outcome of the evaluation is positive, the author will be contacted for the publication of the final paper.
