Nicola Maffeis

Nicola Maffeis was born in Bergamo in 1982. He moved to Milan where he obtained a degree in Design at the Polytechnic in 2004, followed by a degree in Philosophy at the State University of Milan. During this decade, he investigated themes relating to the mythology and crisis of modernity in Western thought in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries – collaborating in the creation of The Classics of Aesthetics. He combines professional training with advertising experience and publishing both in Italy and abroad.
In 2015 he began his personal analytical journey with Franco Baldini and, the following year, he became an associate member of the School of Freudian Psychoanalysis. Here he acquires and deepens the study of metapsychology, refining the method and the epistemology that make psychoanalysis a science of nature.
